Begin to tidy up

Giving her a reassuring smile, you begin to pick things up off the floor as quickly as you can manage. You watch Amrita out of the corner of your eye - she has yet to say a word, only wringing her hands and staring worriedly around the room. However, as soon as you get the last book stacked on the shelf, her relief is both immediate and very clear. You smile, heading over to her as she beams in return.


You ask how she's doing, and the smile hasn't left her face. "Good," she says, and the simple act of her patting your shoulder warms your heart, knowing that for her, that simple action isn't so simple at all.
